Oslo Idrettslag Skøyter is currently seeking a qualified figure skating coach to join our coaching team, working alongside Head Coach Veronika Vrtelova and Senior Coach Denis Lazarev.
Oslo Idrettslag Skøyter boasts a diverse group of approximately 50 active single skaters, ranging from recruits to Seniors. Additionally, our synchro team, in conjunction with recruits, consists of around 30 skaters. Catering to both children, youth and adults, our club serves approximately 200 individuals at various skill levels from beginners to National Team. Our main rink is situated at Jordal in Oslo, but training might also be in other facilities in and around Oslo.

We are in search of a highly motivated and professional individual who can integrate into our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will possess experience in instructing figure skating, demonstrating a thorough understanding of technical aspects across all skill levels. Furthermore, we are looking for someone whose expertise will contribute to the ongoing development of our club.
Effective communication skills are imperative for this role, as the successful candidate will be required to collaborate with skaters, fellow coaches, parents, and board members. Preferably, applicants should hold a diploma or degree in sports/physical education.
Responsibilities of the position will encompass active involvement in all aspects of club activities, necessitating flexibility in working hours, mainly afternoon, evenings and weekends. Typical work will consist of:
- On and off ice training
- Choreo and preparing for competitions
- Travel to competitions
- Work on development plans
